Sam is 19 Months Old!

Samson Paul Ledyard soon to be big brother.

It is probably because we are about 5 weeks from adding another baby to our family, but Adam and I have commented on how big our boy is getting like everyday. He is adding new words that he can say all the time and he is starting to put two or three words together. Like "mo pacor peees" That is more pop corn please.
Here are some of Sam's favorite things. Sam's newest favorite is Trains. He says choo choo. I think this came from the fact that he is in the nursery at church twice a week now and they have a train table that he plays with all the time. When I go to pick him up he is always playing with a choo choo.
He also really like Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. Casey's mom got him a Buzz, Woody, and Alien from the movie Toy Story when she was here and he barley leaves the house without them.

Cars are his other favorite toy to play with. He really likes Mater from the movie Cars. As you can see in this video he usually knows right where Mater is, but Adam was hidding it from him.

Veggie Tales are also a favorite of Sams. I have been taking him to the library every Tuesday and now when we walk in he says Bob? Bob? because he knows that we get Veggie Tale movies from the library. When he is fully awake he asks for Bob (Veggie Tales), Buzz, Car, or Choo Choo.

Casey got him Pooh and he was spinning in circles with it so I taught him Ring Around the Rosy. Of course his favorite part is falling down. Now he will say Ashes? Ashes? when he wants me to sing it for him.

(Yes I know you are thinking "Look he sticks his tongue out just like his Mom." You are correct, but I have to tell you it really helps you concentrate!)
Thanks Casey for taking these pictures for us. We Love You!

When is Baby Ledyard Coming?

I am 34 week pregnant and the weeks are flying by! So we wanted to see if you guys think we are having a boy or a girl and when he/she will be coming. I set up a guessing game like Tarah and Seth did when they were expecting Haven. By the way I promise to get a picture of me up very soon.

http://www.expectnet.com/logingame.php?
If you click this link and the enter LedyardBaby2 in the game name you can put in your guess.

Here is what the doctor has told us so far. Because my blood pressure is high/normal (you can be praying that it stays more normal than high) they will most likley induce me at 39 weeks. This is exactly what they did when I had Sam. At the last ultrasound, which was Sept. 20th the baby weighed 4lb 14oz and they tipically gain a pound every two weeks. He/she has big feet and head and chubby cheeks.

I have felt that this pregnancy is exactly the same as it was with Sam, down to the spot on my belly that feels like it is buring from being streched too much. But unlike Sam this baby is rebelling and has his/her feet down instead of its head. (Another prayer request is that the baby will turn so I will not have to have a c-section!)

I have already put in my guess so you can see what I think will happen. Thanks for all your prayers we love you all!

The Curls are GONE!

I finally talked Adam into letting me get Sam's hair cut. I am sad that the curls are gone (yes we did save a few for the baby book), but he is 14 months old and it was time. He did great! Sam sat all by himself in the chair and did not make a peep. Not even when she used the razor at the end. I think he looks like a little man. And I will never have to hear what a cute girl we have. We ran a bunch a errands after we got it cut and I got just as many comments on how cute my little man was, we just don't get how cute the curls are anymore. My little boy is growing up.

Bad Hair Day

This is why I want to cut Sam's hair.

But a little water and gel goes a long way.

Sam has not been wanting to eat foods that he normally loves. I finally figured out why. He wants to feed himself. So we have had a lot of messes like this lately.

Sam love fruit especially bananas!

Chew! Chew!

The lady at the caf gave Sam this apple when we left. I did not think he would eat it like that, but he made a pretty good dent in it by the time we got home.

I love that smile!!!

Boys will be Boys

This is what Sam's beautiful little hands and face looked like after a long day out at a baseball game. He had a blast walking around and climbing the stairs to go see his daddy in the press box.

Sam had a great time talking a walk in the new wagon that his Boppa got and fixed up for him.

Sam decided he was not going to take a nap on this particular day, but his body had other plans. Don't worry I have been just putting him in is crib at 11 and 3 for his daily naps and I do not get him out for an hour. So now he has no choice but to take a nap.

Easter and a Special Anouncement

For Easter this year we got up and went to our wonderful little church and enjoyed another great sermon from our pastor Elliot. I love hearing the story of how our Savior rose from the dead after three day in a tomb just for me. I still have a hard time with that fact, that Jesus died just for me. I can't wait to really share that with me son. That a man who lived long, long ago died just for him and has an amazing plan for Samson Paul's life.

We then headed to Rockford to visit Grandma and Grandpa Truesdale. Mom, Dad, and Tori were there too. It was fun for Sam to open his Easter baskets. He loved to shake the eggs filled with money. He especially like the dollar Aunt Tori snuck into the soccer egg. But I would have to say that the best part of the day was the present we gave Sam. Read below to find out what is was.

Mom what does the shirt say?

Yes, Mom it is true...

Sam is going to be a big brother!
Yes I am pregnant! We are expecting baby number two in early November. My due date is November 5th. We are very excited.
